| Vinification: |
Another early, warm growing season in the valley, although not as hot as prior years. Ideal ripening conditions throughout the season resulted in ripe, clean, balanced fruit. Lower yields and smaller berries resulted in vibrant flavors, intense aromas, and mature tannins. An exceptional vintage.
Barrel fermented in French Oak. Some barrels are filled direct from press pan without settling. Light batonage and no racking until blending. |
