Taste: |
Delicate fruit on the palate, and it shows the first suggestion of this wine’s great potential. Very smooth and compact now. Long on the palate. |
Vinification: |
The delineated, enclosed Dominikanerberg vineyard is one of Germany's rare monopoly estates, owned exclusively by the von Nell- Breuning family. Its steep slopes provide the perfect microclimatic for brilliantly fruity Rieslings. Ground: barren slate with hard blue slate slabs which imbue the wines with a distinctive taste with high levels of minerality, frequently exuding blackcurrant aromas. The steep south/south-west facing slopes include gradients of up to 50%. |
