The Dominikaner Weingut C. von Nell-Breuning represents the rich heritage of wine making in Germany. Since 1670 our family has been devoted to the art of wine-growing in the Mosel and Ruwer. Beginning in 2013, Dr. Carmen von Nell-Breuning continues the family’s wine tradition into the 11th generation. Our estate only produces elegant Riesling, Riesling sparkling wines, and delicately fruity Pinot Noir from our steep slate vineyards in the Ruwer Valley. All the work in our vineyards is done by hand and hence all the grapes are hand-selected. In our winery, we work according to biodynamic principles.
Taste: A lively wine, the light fruity sweetness and cooling minerality work in perfect harmony. This wine is a great all-rounder which can be enjoyed with many dishes or on its own. The wine for everyday enjoyment.

Vinification: The grapes for this wine come from our Kasel vineyards. Our steep slate slopes provide the perfect microclimatic for brilliantly fruity Rieslings: cool in winter and sunny with good breezes in summer. The barren slate soils imbue the wine with a distinctive taste with high levels of minerality. All work in the vineyards is done by hand, ensuring only the best grapes are selected at harvest.
